A rollercoaster of pros and cons
The location is convenient for accessing Summerville's attractions, and I appreciated the extended checkout time, which allowed me to attend a family event before leaving!
Unfortunately, the room cleanliness was concerning, with mold and stains evident in multiple areas, and the noise from outside lights disrupted my sleep.

Can't remember but we always stay at Hampton Inns and think they are a great value, always clean and comfy.
No elevator.

Brace yourself for this review!
Be ready for some surprises here! The hotel's cleanliness left much to be desired, with various signs of neglect like dirty bathrooms and mold around vents. The noisy location didn't help either. The front desk staff were kind.

Good position, clean, modern andcomfortable. Staff very helpful and efficient.
Thought it was in old town not 2 miles away in new town.

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable.
It was a little pricey but I waited too close to my event to book. I also smelt cigarette smoke up entering through the front and side doors. It was not overpowering but unmistakable.

The breakfast was a feast, offering everything from fluffy waffles to savory sausage. The pool area was spotlessly maintained and inviting for a refreshing dip 🌊

Very convenient location off of I-26. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the stay. Good breakfast in the mornings. Very clean hotel and the rooms were spacious and clean too.
The bathrooms were in desperate need of a renovation. I don't like to see cracks all along the shower walls and grout that is old and needs repair. I expected a much higher quality bathroom from a Hampton Inn. Noise from the interstate was really loud Saturday and Sunday morning. I would request being on the Walmart parking lot side if I stayed here again. And, I was not told that there is not an elevator on the property! Found out when we arrived. Thank goodness we could carry our luggage up and down stairs. My elderly relatives who normally travel with me would not have been able to stay because they cannot climb stairs - with or without luggage!

room was very nice - coffee was good in the breakfast area in the morning.
hallways smelled AWFUL of smoke and just plain old smell!! So thankful our room wasn't like that as I wouldn't have stayed. No receipt under our door, asked for one at checkout - didn't look at it immediately and found it was for another room, once I was in my car, called they emailed me one that when I read it only had my name on, no charges, finally got a correct receipt emailed.

The breakfast was well prepared and incredibly nice with boiled eggs and fruit, for instance, worth the price. Location: the hotel was just off many restaurants & shopping, all the areas and a retail shopping center.

It was great because it was close to where I needed to be for the holiday.
There was a strong odor of cigarette smoke and the hallway smelled even worse.
